Welcome to the opening and
feel the Heat, work and energy of
Yrjö Edelmann’s latest paintings.
This artist continues to fascinate art lovers and
collectors as well as designers and PR agencies worldwide.
Yrjö Edelmann started his career as an illustrator in the 50’s and developed his talent to become a photo realistic trompe-l’œil painter. In 1976 he discovered his true element – PAPER! Later on he started to paint parcels wrapped in wreckled paper. This motif gives the artwork a third dimension since it leaves the viewer to imagine the content of the parcel, eventhough the mysterious creative title gives us a hint.

You will also have the opportunity to meet the fashion designer Marija Pinjuh and see some garments from her fantastic “Yrjö Edelmann Collection, Spring 2015” – inspired by three of Yrjö Edelmann’s paintings.
The artist will be present in the gallery
on Saturday April 25th, 12.00 – 16.00 as well.
