Galleri GKM enters a new era in Stockholm!

We are excited and happy to announce that we will extend our personal presence with a showroom in the center of Stockholm, as a complement to our gallery in Malmö and office in Paris, as well as to our digital platforms.
 

After 55 years in the art business, Galleri GKM will open its third location which will be managed by the third generation of the GKM family.

The showroom is represented by Ludvig who will welcome visitors by appointment.

Galleri GKM history - 3 generations & 3 cities

Galleri GKM was founded 1967 in Jönköping by Solveig and Siwert Bergström. In 1976 Bengt Lindström introduced the gallery to Corneille who advised Siwert to move to Malmö in 1984. It was here the gallery became international starting to represent artists such as Valerio Adami, Karel Appel, Arman, César, Erró, Peter Klasen and Roberto Matta.

The center for these artists was Paris which came to be our ”second home” and since 1998 Kalle runs the Paris office.

From 2000 and on we have expanded the gallery with a younger generation of artists and the business has become worldwide through the digital presence.
